Congratulations INTIX 2013 Award Recipients

The INTIX Awards Program was created to honor and showcase those who have demonstrated professionalism, leadership, service and special achievements through creative, informative and innovative management. 

This year two Tickets.com clients were honored during the Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.  A HUGE congratulations to Aren Murray, Texas A & M University, on winning the Spirit Award and Tulsa Performing Arts Center, accepted by Terri McGilbra, Ticket Office Manager, for Outstanding Box Office.  The recognition is well-deserved in both cases and we're proud to call you family!

The Keynote Speakers: Future of Ticketing Technology: Visions of Tomorrow

The International Ticketing Association (INTIX) has announced the keynote speakers for the 33rd Annual Conference & Exhibition.

The Opening Keynote, entitled “The Future of Ticketing Technology: Visions of Tomorrow” will feature some of the brightest minds in the industry sharing their perspectives on new trends and the future of ticketing technology.

Distinguished panelists include Kevin Kimsa, CEO, AudienceView Ticketing; Neal Gunn, VP Sales and Marketing, Outbox Enterprises; Dave Butler, CEO, Paciolan; Jack Rubin, President, Tessitura Network, Inc.; Jared Smith, COO North America, Ticketmaster; John Walker, President & CEO, Tickets.com; and Jeff Kline, President, Veritix.

The panel will be moderated by Dan DeMato, Principal of FutureTix, Inc.

The Closing Keynote, “Opportunities in Social Ticketing,” will be presented by David Fisch, the Director of Strategic Partnership at Facebook.

Tickets.com Showcases the Latest and Greatest at INTIX!

What a great week for Tickets.com at this year’s INTIX in downtown Chicago. We kicked off the conference by hosting a VIP Mixer for our clients at the Sheraton Hotel. Everyone had a chance to meet and catch up. As we moved into the week with a brand new tradeshow booth we showcased ProVenue, Enterprise Reporting, and Campaign Creator demonstrations. In usual Tickets.com style, we took over McFadden’s Lounge and danced the night away. Thanks to everyone that joined us for the night. Closing out the week Derek Palmer, Chief Commercial Officer, participated in the “Virtual Ticketing” panel and spoke about the Tickets@Phone functionality.
