Examiner.com

For many years, Buffalo Top-40 radio station WKSE - better known as Kiss 98.5 - has been known for their concert "festivals" - "Kiss the Summer Hello" and "Kiss the Summer Goodbye" at the long-gone Pier, and most recently and notably, "Kissmas Bash" at the HSBC Arena. They've now brought back "Kiss the Summer Hello," on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 at Coca-Cola Field (formerly Dunn Tire Park) in Downtown Buffalo.

The cast of characters for the 2009 edition is a great sampling of the music that Kiss is known for: 2007 "American Idol" finalist Elliott Yamin; the Chicago pop sounds of the White Tie Affair; the up-and-coming Brit-pop of the Ting Tings; the Austrailian dance-pop of sister act the Veronicas; the funk-metal stadium pop of Kevin Rudolf; and electonica from Colorado with 3OH!3.

Tickets for "Kiss the Summer Hello" are on sale at tickets.com and all Tops locations. Seats in the stands are $20, and field seats are $35. For more information, go to kiss985.com.
