The San Jose Earthquakes will play the Houston Dynamo at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. PT in an exhibition match. The Quakes will then play the Portland Timbers on Saturday, March 20 at Buck Shaw Stadium at 7:00 p.m. PT as their final tune-up for the regular season.
Season ticket holders can attend this match free of charge. All tickets for the Houston game are general admission and cost $10 to the general public and go on sale on Friday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. PT. They can be purchased by calling Tickets.com at 1-800-225-2277 or online at sjearthquakes.com. Tickets are already on sale for the Portland game on March 20.
The Earthquakes made their only appearance at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco pm Feb. 16 against the Dynamo in 0-0 draw.
In 2009, the teams split their two regular season matchups, with both teams winning at home. San Jose won 3-2 with a wild first half on March 28 at Buck Shaw Stadium and Houston returned the favor on May 23, winning 3-1 at Robertson Stadium.

Earthquakes to Play Club Deportivo Aguila on September 8

The San Jose Earthquakes will host legendary Salvadoran side Club Deportivo Aguila on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The game will be held at Buck Shaw Stadium and will be season ticket holder bonus game "B." Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT.
Individual tickets for the game go on sale Tuesday, August 18 at 10 a.m. PT and are available online at sjearthquakes.com, by calling (800) 225-2277 or by visiting your local authorized Tickets.com outlets. Prices for individual tickets range from $20 to $60. Season ticket holders should use their Bonus Game "B" ticket for the match. Season ticket holders will also have the ability to purchase additional tickets at a discounted price.
Aguila is one of El Salvador's all-time winningest teams, having captured 15 first division championships since its founding in 1926. They won their first title in 1959 and their most recent championship came in 2006. They also were the first Salvadoran team to win the CONCACAF Championship when it captured that title in 1976. The club is located in San Miguel.
The match marks the second straight year the Earthquakes will play a team from El Salvador. They defeated CD FAS 2-1 on Oct. 7, 2008 at Buck Shaw Stadium. San Jose is now 5-8-5 all-time against international opponents in friendly matches, including their 4-0 victory over the Honduran Olympic Team and the win against FAS last season.

FAS is led by four El Salvador National Team regulars, defenders Marvin Gonzalez, Ramon Flores and Alfredo Pacheco and forward Emerson Umana. Pacheco currently serves as captain of FAS. Argentinean forward Alejandro de la Cruz Bentos is FAS' active leading scorer with 76 goals. He is ranked third on the club's all-time scoring list.

Kids Casa, Blach Construction Company and Tickets.com Donate Tickets to Children for the Earthquakes Match Against the New York Red Bulls
SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes, in conjunction with Kids Casa, Blach Construction Company and Tickets.com, have donated over 400 tickets to underprivileged children in the Bay Area.
MACSA, Lucille Packard Children Hospital, Kidango, Unity Care Group and El Sobrante Boys and Girls Club are the fortunate organizations that received the tickets. The lucky children from these organizations will have the experience of a lifetime when they go see the Quakes take on Juan Pablo Angel and the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, July 27 at Buck Shaw Stadium at noon PT.
Since the return of the Earthquakes to the Bay Area, the team has focused on building a relationship with the community that is strong and enduring. In the past few months, the team has partnered with different organizations to donate tickets to underprivileged children that otherwise would not have a chance to see a live soccer game. The team has also spent much of their time off the field doing appearances at various schools, hospitals, and after school programs within the Bay Area.
