Singer/songwriter John Legend will make his Coachella Valley debut at 8 p.m. Jan. 17 in the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio.

From his multi-platinum debut album, “Get Lifted,” in 2004, Legend has continued to explore his musical range, including performances with rap artists Andre 3000, Fergie and T.I.

Legend’s current CD, “Evolver,” was released in October. “Green Light,” is the first single from the disc which has already topped Billboard’s R&B and hip-hop charts and reached the number 4 spot on the Billboard hot 200 list.
