The Milwaukee Brewers this morning reached 3 million total tickets sold for the 2009 season. It is the second consecutive season the Brewers have reached the 3 million ticket plateau and the second time in team history.
The Brewers currently have sold out 27 games on the season and through 65 home games have a season attendance of 2,480,233. "Reaching three million tickets sold is the ultimate testament to Brewers fans, and it speaks volumes about their loyalty to the team and passion for the game," said Brewers Executive Vice President Rick Schlesinger. "We thank all of the fans who have come out this season, and we will continue to make the Miller Park experience the very best in baseball."
The Brewers have 16 home games left in the 2009 regular season. Tickets remain for all future home games, but advance purchase is encouraged. Individual tickets may be purchased online at brewers.com, the Miller Park Box Office, all tickets.com outlets and by calling 414-902-4000 or 800-933-7890.
