Beginning July 29, 2008, Reasor’s will be selling tickets to the new BOK Center, Tulsa’s state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue, with seating for 18,500. The arena was designed to host major concerts, family shows, ice shows and other world-class entertainment. Owned by the City of Tulsa, the BOK Center is part of Vision 2025, a project to grow economic and community infrastructure for future generations. Both Reasor’s and the BOK Center will be using Tickets.com software solutions to manage ticket inventory and ticket delivery.
Tickets are being sold in all Reasor’s Video departments. If a store does not offer a video department, tickets can be purchased at the customer service desk. “All of us at Reasor’s have been looking forward to this exciting new partnership with the BOK Center and Tickets.com,” said Sara Freeman, Video Director for Reasor’s Inc. “This relationship will be a great asset for our customers and all parties involved.”
Reasor’s has been in the ticket business since 2005 when they partnered with GetTix. Jeff Reasor, President and CEO, said “Reasor’s wants to maintain its reputation as an innovator in providing convenience for our customers – both existing and prospective.”
Reasor’s was founded over 45 years ago in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It was family owned until 2007, when Reasor’s became an employee owned company. Today, Reasor’s has 15 locations and employs over 3,000 people in Northeast Oklahoma.
